N\u00e1poj, kter\u00fd jsme si obl\u00edbili v na\u0161ich kon\u010din\u00e1ch, ale s pravou tureckou k\u00e1vou toho m\u00e1 pram\u00e1lo spole\u010dn\u00e9ho. Tureck\u00e1 k\u00e1va se p\u0159ipravuje v mal\u00e9 kovov\u00e9 konvi\u010dce, kter\u00e1 se naz\u00fdv\u00e1 \u201ed\u017eezva\u201c. V n\u00ed se k\u00e1va, kter\u00e1 je namlet\u00e1 velmi najemno, sm\u00edch\u00e1 s vodou a \u010dasto i s cukrem. Pot\u00e9 se postupn\u011b zah\u0159\u00edv\u00e1, asi t\u0159ikr\u00e1t za sebou, dokud nevznikne na k\u00e1v\u011b p\u011bna. Pozor, k\u00e1va se ale nikdy nesm\u00ed va\u0159it. V\u00fdsledn\u00fdm n\u00e1pojem je siln\u00e1 k\u00e1va, velmi aromatick\u00e1 a hust\u00e9 konzistence.Oproti tomu p\u0159\u00edprava \u010desk\u00e9ho turka je pon\u011bkud odli\u0161n\u011bj\u0161\u00ed. K\u00e1va je namlet\u00e1 na hrub\u0161\u00ed konzistenci a nasype se p\u0159\u00edmo do hrn\u00ed\u010dku, kde se zalije vrouc\u00ed vodou. Pak se nech\u00e1 k\u00e1va n\u011bkolik minut odst\u00e1t, a\u017e k\u00e1vov\u00e1 sedlina z\u016fstane na dn\u011b hrn\u00ed\u010dku. P\u00edt se pak mus\u00ed k\u00e1va opatrn\u011b, aby \u010dlov\u011bk z\u00e1rove\u0148 nevypil i k\u00e1vou sedlinu. Oby\u010dejn\u011b se k\u00e1va je\u0161t\u011b doslad\u00ed cukrem, nebo se do n\u00ed p\u0159id\u00e1 ml\u00e9ko. Chu\u0165 tureck\u00e9 k\u00e1vy je velmi bohat\u00e1. Siln\u00e1, ko\u0159en\u011bn\u00e1 a chu\u0165 dokresluje hust\u00e1 p\u011bna, kter\u00e1 je na povrchu n\u00e1poje. Serv\u00edruje se z mal\u00fdch \u0161\u00e1lk\u016f, v Turecku tradi\u010dn\u011b i se sklenic\u00ed vody na zapit\u00ed a dopln\u011bn\u00ed hydratace, a n\u011b\u010d\u00edm sladk\u00fdm.Sladk\u00e1 chu\u0165 se pak skv\u011ble kombinuje s intenzivn\u00ed, ho\u0159kou chut\u00ed tureck\u00e9 k\u00e1vy. Chu\u0165 \u010desk\u00e9ho \u201eturku\u201c je v\u00edce ho\u0159k\u00e1, hrub\u00e1 a nem\u00e1 tak jemnou konzistenci, jako tureck\u00e1 k\u00e1va. \u010casto m\u016f\u017eeme v n\u00e1poji tak\u00e9 c\u00edtit silnou kyselost. Jak\u00fd je v\u016fbec p\u016fvod tureck\u00e9 k\u00e1vy? Tureck\u00e1 k\u00e1va je sou\u010d\u00e1st\u00ed kav\u00e1rensk\u00fdch tradic v Turecku, Arabsk\u00e9m sv\u011bt\u011b i t\u0159eba v takov\u00e9m \u0158ecku. Pit\u00ed tureck\u00e9 k\u00e1vy pova\u017euj\u00ed k\u00e1vov\u00ed znalci za ritu\u00e1l, kter\u00fd je t\u0159eba si n\u00e1le\u017eit\u011b vychutnat. Oproti tomu \u010desk\u00fd \u201eturek\u201c vznikl sp\u00ed\u0161e z praktick\u00fdch d\u016fvod\u016f, ne\u017e ze snahy zalo\u017eit n\u011bjakou tradici.
